Quick answers

Fenbendazole dosage and protocol facts

Short answer: there is no FDA-approved fenbendazole dosage for humans. The figures below describe publicly discussed community schedules, not a medical recommendation.

Joe Tippens protocol
Commonly described as 222 mg on three consecutive days followed by four rest days. It is anecdotal and not an approved cancer treatment.
222 mg vs 444 mg
444 mg is twice the 222 mg amount. Neither amount is an approved human dose, and a larger amount does not establish greater effectiveness.
Makis protocol
A community-described fenbendazole and ivermectin combination with protocol tiers and rest days. It is not a clinically established standard of care.
What this calculator does
It converts selected educational inputs into a transparent weekly schedule and dated calendar; it does not assess suitability, interactions, safety or treatment outcomes.

Dr. Makis Protocol

A combination oncology protocol that pairs ivermectin with a benzimidazole (fenbendazole) plus metabolic support. Choose a severity tier — both doses are set automatically, and you can fine-tune each with its own slider.

Most common solid tumors — breast, lung, colon, prostate, renal. Dosed 6 days on, 1 day off.

💊 Step 1 · Ivermectin

Anti-parasitic repurposed for oncology. Dose per kg of body weight, 6 days on / 1 day off, taken with a fatty meal (boosts absorption ~2.5×).

Yellow · supervised1.0–2.0 mg/kg — aggressive tier, medical supervision
Red · critical only> 2.0 mg/kg — late-stage / strict monitoring only

🧬 Step 2 · Fenbendazole

Benzimidazole anti-parasitic paired with ivermectin in the Makis combination. Per-dose amount, 6 days on / 1 day off (or mebendazole 200–1500 mg).

Ivermectin70 mg per dose
Human pharmaceutical 12 mg tablets, 6 days on / 1 day off, taken with a high-fat meal to boost absorption ~2.5×.
Fenbendazole444 mg per dose
Or mebendazole 200–1500 mg. Benzimidazole partner for synergy, 6 days on / 1 day off.
Vitamin D35,000–10,000 IU / day
The same D3 softgels sold in any pharmacy — just a high daily dose (most shelf bottles are 1,000–2,000 IU). The goal is a strong blood level (a “25-OH vitamin D” lab test around 70–90 ng/mL); ask your doctor to check it every few months and adjust.
Berberine500 mg
Daily. Metabolic support (glucose/glutamine restriction rationale).

Optional — Methylene blue
Reserved for aggressive cases, physician-directed only.
Protocol also emphasizes a ketogenic diet or intermittent fasting. Monitor liver (ALT/AST) & kidney function every 2–6 weeks.

Possible side effects

  • Ivermectin — neurotoxicity at high doses: dizziness, blurred vision, confusion, loss of balance; severe cases seizures/coma. Accumulates with daily dosing (half-life ~18 h).
  • Combined liver strain — ivermectin + benzimidazole together stress the liver; LFT monitoring every 2–4 weeks is standard.
  • Drug interactions — ivermectin is a CYP3A4 / P-glycoprotein substrate; interacts with blood thinners and some chemo agents.
  • Never use veterinary-grade products — use human pharmaceutical-grade with a Certificate of Analysis.
Disclaimer. These medications are not FDA-approved for cancer. The protocol relies on preclinical data and observational cohorts (e.g. Hulscher et al. 2026, no control group), not Phase 3 trials. Even Dr. Paul Marik has cautioned against high-dose regimens. Use only under qualified medical supervision.
